Kentucky Downs is located in Franklin, Kentucky – the only community in Kentucky located along the Interstate 65 corridor to have been honored as one of the 50 Best Small Southern Towns in America.
Founded in 1820 and named in honor of Benjamin Franklin, the city is the county seat for Simpson County in south central Kentucky.
